The Municipality of Penn Hills plans to purchase a Bandit woodchipper and 5-ton dump truck to support leaf-waste collection, compost maintenance, and transport as part of its Residential Recycling Program. Funding is being sought through an Act 101 Section 902 Recycling Grant. Public comments may be submitted to the Planning Director by June 15, 2026. The grant resolution was approved at the May 11, 2026 Mayor and Council meeting. See attached notice for more information.
